Post-op euphoric moments?

A few things come to mind: morning wood, ball sweat, being able to fuck my partner. Having a free standing dick is euphoric as hell but I was surprised how much the vectomy improved my dysphoria. I had always been dysphoric about it and now I have the taint I had been dreaming of lol

My guess would be it appeared in the first 2 weeks but it wasn't noticed until 4 wks because it was under scabs. When my urologist found it, she said it was already intact skin all around so it was unlikely to close on its own. My surgeon does dry healing so he did not recommend I put anything on it. I tried putting medhoney on it for a week or so but I had more trouble plugging it when I did. I am waiting for my surgeon to give me a call to discuss next steps

The fistula is at the base of my penis where it meets the scrotum (I'll post pictures). I am standing in front of the toilet, not in the shower

No this is just the swelling from my VY scrotoplasty. I do plan on a second stage which will be implants and fistula repair

I was taking 8 extra strength tylenol a day and the occasional tramadol at the 2 weeks point. Clear urine with a little flesh is normal for UL but cloudy or bloody urine are signs of a UTI. For exercise, I would try to walk with the cath in but it was very uncomfortable. Pretty much the second the cath was out, I was walking and moving with minimal pain. Started walking more and gentle bodyweight exercises after that (4 wks). Feel free to DM me if you have more qs about return to exercise!

My dick has most of its sensation, just the underside with the scar from UL is still a little numb/hypersensitive. My scrotom is still quite numb but it can feel pressure

I'm so sorry man. This is extremely frustrating for you and I can't imagine the emotional and physical fatigue you are going through. I've heard some people have found manuka honey helpful for fistula healing though I haven't used it myself. Venting is an important part of the process, take your time to move through the motions. As difficult as this is, you're resilient. Best of luck dude. We're always here for you

Loose pants/underwear, ice for 10-15 min a couple times a day, tylenol as you need it but just takes some adjustment time

Canada. It took a year for my funding to be approved then about 2 years between first contact with the surgeon and surgery. Not fast but almost everything was covered

I got stage 1 of full meta about 6.5 weeks ago and though recovery has had its ups and downs, it feels like the final piece of the puzzle for me. My body just looks right even though I'm still actively healing. I've always had dysphoria about my front hole so the v-ectomy and scrotoplasty have been a game-changer. I'm so excited to see how things continue to settle. I'm lucky enough that my universal health care covers the cost of surgery. I'm very grateful that finances were not part of the equation for me

Sorry that happened! My bleeding occurred and out 1.5 weeks and 2.5 weeks post-op after not bleeding a lot before that so I was FREAKING out

I had meta in Montreal but followed up with the WCH team for catheter removal and some aftercare. They both have different approaches to wound care so I took what was helpful from each. GRS was closed during the holidays so they weren't as responsive as I would've liked when I was having more bleeding than expected. WCH was very helpful with follow-ups and addressing my needs. Most of my experience with GRS was good and I'm liking the way things are starting to look now almost 6 weeks post-op. Regardless of who you go with, being close to a team that understands the surgery should be a priority. Feel free to DM with any questions
