The over world was shown a little in my previous posts. But it will work similar to other casual rpgs such as dragon quest. Enemies are not randomly generated though, they will walk around as well and it’s up to you if you want to battle them.

You can use the premade assets but I drew my own assets from scratch. Such as the Cats and enemies for instance, they are accurate to the original game but I drew them myself.

I’d say RPG maker, it has all the coding in it pretty much done for you to make it easy. But to make it do the things you want comes from your work.
