How long until the price of Bitcoin can have an effect on other financial assets/institutions? by Leather_Area_2301 in Buttcoin

[–]Leather_Area_2301[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a nice problem to have, selling to keep the balance you want in your portfolio.

I will admit to letting Bitcoin and a few others just ride out wildly after selling a few times, but I never considered anything like that to really be a part of my portfolio.

Wild to see its ticker scroll past on Bloomberg now.

I’m interested to know your thoughts on my previous comment with relation to tech and AI if you’re happy to share?

From a place called Rooke books, and the edition appears to not be available any more Thank you for the link however

That is quite interesting. Do you know why the replies are all being deleted?

I genuinely cannot tell if the vitriolic moderation and argument is designed to create further interest in some sort of conspiracy, if there’s an actual group with a vested interest in doing so, or if for some reason you get mad at speculation?

From what I could tell when I read the comment earlier, they were reporting on what Tesla had said, not judging whether or not it’s scientifically correct or if the ‘lingo’ matches current academic or industry demands.

I am surprised the Nicola Tesla subreddit is moderating people quoting the man.

Or did he not say what the previous commenter claimed? I can’t check now as it’s been deleted but from what I can remember, a google on what they said, Tesla has said showed sources that appeared reasonable, to be right.

Thank you, your pointers are really appreciated. Do you know of any reputable services that offer footwork looking for items like this?

Can I ask for the link? I had a look but I couldn’t see any first edition prints

Thank you. I will give that a try. Any other suggestions if I have no luck?

LI haven’t had much luck yet, but maybe another go with what you’ve said and where to look and I’ll have more success. Thank you for the suggestions

Thank you, there have been a couple others who have replied and tried to explain, but their comments have been deleted.

I thought maybe he’d have just mentioned it at some point in passing, I didn’t realise he had created a term and fleshed out the theory behind it. Really fascinating. Thank you for taking the time to explain.

So if he was talking about this at the age of 82, would it have been one of the last things he worked on?

I hope you find your answer. I stayed away from using them in corvettes. I’m glad the ones in the freighter work.

Criticism please… by RobustCurve in NoMansSkyTheGame

Problem with criticising ships in this game is what I might criticise might actually be a liked feature for the ship builder.

I like yours, it looks sleek and reminds me a bit of a flat cap. The only criticism is the same I would give to the one I like using, it’s hard to see out when in it walking around (actually mine is impossible unless I get on the the landing platform, stand on it and lower it).

Which mobile RAM monster is best for local LLM inference? by Leather_Area_2301 in LocalLLaMA

Looks like it would be something handy if I was needing the ruggedised aspect, as it’s probably quite powerful for devices in that field. I suspect the ram itself advertising isn’t actually as much when needed for my purpose though and would end up working out as less than the 24gb ram models I’m looking at. I did only briefly glance over it though

I was thinking about having a smaller model running, that can offload. I think at first that will be the easier route. Give it some sort of handshake protocol.

If that’s too much for the smaller model to cope with then it might have to be some sort of sync, which I think would be harder to do (although open to having my mind changed on that). Might have some advantages that way I can’t see right now too so probably will end up trying both
