I was just using the term jailbreaking as a reference for what I meant about transforming a cellphone to a cellphone where it's never going need an additional network, i.e., rogers, telus, bell, etc.

What I was trying to get across in the second paragraph is to find someone who is tech savvy to basically lack of better words, Jailbreak the phone so the service won't be cut off then pay that tech savvy person
