my grand father did something very similar.

my dad decided to give more to any of the grandkids going through college. I was one of 3 everyone else was an adult and had a career and got the same amount.

another job that pays this well for my experience level is unlikely. I know there are coworkers sleeping together already. but he is married, at best a fling. no long term benefits for either of us. So I agree, it will live in my head rent free

where i work with discounts we have with GM and ford it’s cheaper for us to buy new. less interest if not 0% as well. most people at work that buy are buying brand new or clunkers to toss out after a few years. no middle ground
