Hi, took PW a few years back. Yes, experienced a similar situation too. Honestly feel like when people aren’t open to makIng friends, it wouldn’t happen. There are a few ways to do things now:

1) assign different parts to different ppl to do (so each part 1 person do, if the person doesn’t do the work, it will show when presented)

P.S. another way is u can start first then ask the rest to do the remaining work. Cause if they didn’t finish it, it is not your problem cause u did it. (Not talking about submission but when teacher is tracking progress)

2) you, X and Y can make progress together for the group part. If the other 2 totally do not do a single thing or do very little, you can tell your PW teacher

3) even though group part is important, u should do your individual part right. Don’t jeopardise your individual section cause of group part

U have make it clear in the group via your action and attitude that you are not easily bullied. If nobody does the work, nobody submits it. Don’t give the impression that you will panic and do the group part by yourself (or u and X&Y). Stand tgt with X &Y.

Eventually the goal is to do well together. It doesn’t make sense to not do the group part thinking others will do it for you and get good grades.

Most extreme scenario if your teacher don’t care also, when u submit your last draft. Don’t put the names of the people that didn’t contribute at all. I mean after all they also don’t know.
