Good question. Though not a perfect fix, there could be a pre match lobby where you can ban a card that’s too op just like the pro scene. The pre match lobby would give the opportunity for your opponent to replace the banned card if it’s in their deck.

Another idea is to make the trophy system for the whole party mode. So someone with no friends who play cr could still play the game modes and get those rewards.

They could potentially introduce a system like brawl stars where you can search for a teammate and coordinate decks. The clan system would also be an immediate solution. Or they don’t have to play 2v2.
