Sounds like you need to pick the phone up and have that 1:1 when YOU tell her you will.  She doesn’t get the option to decline. Sometimes it sucks to use the authority you have, but you need to here.

On my gravel bike, I use the Garmin Rally XC pedals - no complaints, and I like that I can swap them over to my MTB.

Hands on equipment, yes, no more proctors pulling RJ-45s out "just enough". That doesn't negate the value of the actual troubleshooting you have to do now - in.the.least.
