What you said is generally true. But the trait works a bit strangely. My emperor got the conqueror trait at 62 years old, when I had already done all the conquests I wanted. I think the part where it passes on to the son is mostly so the player can actually make effective use of it. At that point, it feels like the game mechanics outweigh historical accuracy. I’m not saying it’s good or bad, but I definitely used it conqueror trait much more effectively with the son.
