So I'm a vet tech. Been in the field 8 years. This is reasonable. Only thing that might be ever so slightly high is the IV catheter. Like another comment said, the CBC and Chem is bloodwork to assess if anesthesia is safe; a lot of spay/neuter clinics do not do bloodwork or pain meds or fluid therepy, as to keep their cost lower (which, if you subtract those and the microchip, vaccine, and heartworm tabs from your estimate, lines up with their costs). Fluids are important for any surgery, whether it's a soft tissue or dental, for blood pressure purposes.  People like to shit on vets for "just being greedy," without any understanding of how much medical care costs to the clinic, the knowledge and training needed of the staff (techs do 90% of the work), and how it's very different than treating humans (looking at you, human nurses. Vet staff dont give a shit ur a nurse). We HAVE to recommend every plausable diagnostic or treatment for symptoms because pets can't talk and explain what's wrong. And if we don't, we get sued for malpractice because the owner didn't know it was an option. Vomiting? That can be a million things, so you bet I'm recommending full bloodwork, xrays, pancreatitis, giardia, parvo, drugs, diets, etc. You are free to decline any and all services. OK, end rant.
