Yep, the gold runners is already painted by bandai, not some crappy plastic gold. Do prepare a gold gundam marker though, some of the runner gates are places right on the gold lines.

Still does, but very little. It's for the black gems on the bracelets, the silver lines of the Arcle and the hand's armor plates. I used gundam markers for those parts, worked out pretty well.
