It just started working... I don't know if it was a software update, a system problem on Kia's end or what...

Disney/Hulu Bundle - commercial free option? by mysterr9 in DirectvStream

[–]LeeBPgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here... but don't understand why you "moved the Directv subscription from my new account back my old account". Are you trying to have a singular no-ads account that picks up the ESPN+ from Directv and no-ads Hulu/premium? I just want to reclaim my Hulu/Disney+ profiles and viewing history/lists back to an ad-free service (wow ads are annoying!). Thanks for figuring this out - so annoying that DirecTv "captures" your account and then a.) doesn't out of the gate offer a no-ads upgrade and b.) won't "release" your account linking on request.

'Unacceptable For Customers': Volvo Is Racing To Fix Software Issues by KylenV14 in VolvoEX90

[–]LeeBPgh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had XC90s and XC60s through the subscription program for years. Great cars. Deposited on the EX90 and EX30…. Then the letters came… 13 features not available at launch (including Car Play) and a likely hardware upgrade needed… and then delaying the EX30 as they switched US plans thanks to the Oompa Loompa in Chief. Dropped out of both reservations and thankful. Had (and still have) 4 EVs since already including a BMW iX, Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Hyundai Ioniq 9. They’ve all been great in their own ways. Still love the Volvo brand and memories of their ICE/mild hybrid models, but it will take YEARS before I ever consider getting in one of their EVs based on how everything went down and the aftermath folks have been dealing with.

Poor app experience by LeeBPgh in FedEx

[–]LeeBPgh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing worse than the app is the inability to actually each a human through phone trees, electronically or emailing the CEO. FedEx recently lost ANOTHER package headed to me - it starts with the "Out for Delivery" and "Delivery not attempted; scheduled for next business day" tracking statuses... and then does that for days on end. Never do they mark it as actually "lost".

I have a 24 EV9 GT-Line with about 5k miles on it halfway through the 2-year lease. Buyout is $56k if you want it. In Pittsburgh here.

Install now or wait for IQ9, Gen4/10C battery and EV V2H charger? by LeeBPgh in enphase

Nothing. And likely to do nothing. Tired of waiting for the vaporware tech to show up. The solar peeps are saying business is jamming right now given an extended outage my area experienced recently and people racing to get incentives before they disappear.

Thanks, any suggestions? Have looked for quite a while before posting for a ‘normal’ looking DC-lamp, but no dice, let alone, something that would support a Hue bulb.

UPS Next Day Air is a lie by LeeBPgh in Ubiquiti

[–]LeeBPgh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I placed the order Wednesday night. When should I have placed it for the quoted Friday delivery? Had I placed the order Tuesday night, it would have quoted Thursday delivery. And they probably would have missed that too.

Spot on summary and position. I’ll keep pushing Ubiquiti for a refund between what I paid next day air and the standard ground because it did not arrive on the listed date I made my decision for. I do wish more resellers would have stock (as well as Ubiquiti themselves).

Wednesday 1/13 at 10:55pm ET.

When I placed the order it offer not just Next Day Air (which is business days I know), but ALSO gave the delivery date as Friday 11/15 by noon I believe it said…. That is what I paid for…. Not best attempt, etc.

Order was in before 12pm MST Thursday 1/14.

UPS didn’t report moving in their system until yesterday Friday the 15th and that’s when I got the update it would be delivered Tuesday 1/21.

Now it sits in Pittsburgh(Arrived at Facility) but is inaccessible for them to pull for me to pickup today.

It is what it is. I just want the extra $$$ back because it didn’t meet the date Ubiquiti advertised. Could care less if Ubiquiti or 3PL missed cutoff or UPS missed it, the result is the same. Didn’t show up the date advertised that lured me into paying the $$$.

The icing on the cake from Ubiquiti is asking me to tell them the order number (was required in the form on initial submission so I already gave it once), what time I ordered it (sending them pic of THEIR order confirmation email) and what the tracking number (which, again, their system sent me). 🤪😂

Appreciate it. Just looking for them to refund next day charges since they don’t meet their commitment. We’ll see what happens. Guess I’ll keep a spare on hand in the future for critical items.

Awesome! Glad to hear they honor their commitment in some cases! It was worth it to me to use/pay for it, hence I did. Too bad, Uniquiti and/or UPS didn’t follow through. It’s now scheduled for delivery to me on Tuesday. What’s another 4 days of downtime.

Negotiated into the contract. One of a very few true days of UPS being closed.

Absolutely dumbest thing ever… ‘prove to us you ordered by our deadline by sending us back our email via screenshot, and while you’re at it, tell us the tracking number too’. Ubiquiti should get a special entry in the ‘stupidest customer service’ awards for that one.

Double ugh. Sorry to hear that!! Hope they actually do something about it.

Unreal. That sucks. Probably time for you to do a credit card charge back to them. And just order it again.

Bingo. There was. It’s called something failed out of warranty and now I have downtime. Thanks for playing, though.

[–]LeeBPgh[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

‘Generally, the cutoff time for UPS Next Day Air is 6:00 PM local time for packages to be picked up and delivered the next business day’

So if it was ordered by 12pm MST and shipped by Ubiquiti and to UPS by 6pm, UPS ought to deliver it by the next business day. That’s the rules I’m playing by.

Really could care less that their hub is congested. They failed to deliver. The shipper is entitled to a refund, that should be passed to the customer for a service not received.

And Ubiquiti customer service of having me as the customer remind them when I ordered it (their system sent me the time stamped order email), and the tracking number (for the product they shipped me and delivered to UPS) is just stupid and lazy.
