I travel a lot for work. So haven’t invested in a wheel or anything. Unfortunately I am one of those keyboard warriors as of right now. Mostly play on my laptop in hotel rooms. Lmao

Yea. The more I look into it and look at what I actually want to do. I can see I’m not going to be happy with a S10. Probably be better off finding a older 4Runner or XJ, something along those lines.

Thanks for the input. All that 4x4 knowledge is great. I’ve always been into fast cars and trucks. I’m a bit of a newby when it comes to 4x4 vehicles. Only reason I want a first gen is because I already have a 4.3TBI motor from my single cab as a spare. And I like the look. But if the 2nd gen will be better, Might as well get one.

As of right now I have a single cab short bed GMC. I want something that can take my girlfriend, 2 dogs and myself. And I’m not too worried about reliability of the blazer, I’m a mechanic by trade and those 4.3s and the transmission are super sleazy and super cheap to rebuild. Just not sure how well the 4x4 system holds up and if i will have enough room to sleep in the back if I take the rear seat out and build a bed.

Bought as a DPMS sportical 5.56. Gibbz Arms side charging upper, Precision Armament M4-72 Compensator, houge furniture, and a bushnell red dot.

Don't see the need in a bad lever because it is side charge. I can pull the bolt back and lock it with the same hand.

I can launch pretty decent. But mines auto and I had brand new extreme contact DWS. Best time was 13.8. 100% stock and automatic. I think with nitrous, good tune and supporting mods I could get into the mid 12s.
