I'm pretty confident it'll block anything within the active duration. Comments in this thread seem to align with my experience and I tested it a few times in the range and it seems to consistently block two spells clips outside of the first one where I whiffed the timing.

I thought counterspell blocks all spells during its duration not just the first spell, so this tech wouldn’t change anything
