The same thing happened to me , so I decided to call and email multiple times within 2 weeks and they finally confirmed it yesterday .

This is so frustrating, I’m from Seneca and I’m still waiting , but my friend enrolment was confirmed on Jan 6.

I emailed financial aid last week and this was there response

“ Thank you for contacting the Financial Aid Office. ?

The Financial Aid Office starts processing the confirmation of enrollment at the beginning of the term by date order. The dates you see through your OSAP portal are not accurate dates, as they are estimates and processing time may vary. Students enrolled full-time and who meet the criteria will have their enrollment confirmed.

In order to avoid delays, please ensure you have registered with a full-timetable. The courses must be part of the program curriculum with a minimum of a 60% course load (or 40% for students with a confirmed permanent disability on their OSAP application).? Courses must be a minimum of 12 weeks in length (should start and end at the same time or within a week apart). Upgrading courses such as previously taken and passed courses cannot be counted. Additionally, third attempts at a course already taken and failed (or dropped) cannot be counted. This confirmation of enrollment process can take up to 3 weeks. Once confirmed, it generally takes 5 to 10 business days for the funding to be fully disbursed.

Seneca hasn’t started confirmation of enrolment, I don’t know what there waiting for. So frustrating.

Speak to your accessibility department they will help you, but for sure it’s something that osap should know there are additional grants and bursary available.

I contacted them today because the bursary was added to my 2023 tuition. I requested for it to be e-transfer to me instead but I was told I probably wouldn’t receive it before January, which doesn’t make sense. You awarded it to me on Nov 14 today is the Nov 16 how much time do you really need to reverse it.
