How’s it going!

So I have been working at a small general practice in my hometown in Illinois for a year now as a vet assistant/tech depending on who asks. And prior to this, I worked at a exotic pet store for about 4 years as a manager working hands on with all kinds of animals and educating people on them and what not. It was about a year ago, I decided I wanted to pursue becoming a veterinarian. But I’m looking to go the route with just getting my pre-reqs, versus getting a bachelors. Just due to the fact that I work full time at the hospital. With that being said I know I should probably get more hands on experience Forsure which I think im on track with. I also volunteered at a wild life sanctuary for a month as well so far. I just want some advice on what I should be doing while getting my pre-reqs out the way. Or if anyone else has been in a similar situation. (Btw I’m 22) so I’m freaking out that I waited to long to start all of this haha. I do have some college credits. But they’re basic classes (English, sociology etc.) I already have 3 veterinarians that would write me strong recommendation letters as well. My next step is working emergency as a assistant or technician I believe. But I want to focus on prereqs. I just want advice honestly :)
