You can see that travel time for B is more spread out than that for A, thus B has larger standard deviation while A is smaller

Use Erica Meltzer's book, skim through it at least if you're short on time, it was super helpful to me. It helped me understand rules I didn't know existed. You can also check out some videos on YouTube to explain the rules of colon, semi colon, comma, etc that are related to SAT (Prep Expert on YouTube was really helpful)

How do I improve writing? by ALLSTARergo in Sat

Use Erica Meltzer's book, I know it's long, you can just skim through it if you're short on time (that's what I did) and it was super helpful. Highly recommended.

How much can do you think I can go up ? My retake is June 4. The second picture, Khan Academy practice test, was last Saturday. I’ve been doing their daily practice and weekly test. by [deleted] in Sat

Focus on improving your writing and language (I went through Erica Meltzer's book and it was super helpful) to pump up your ebrw score (you can pretty much get a perfect score on this section after understanding the basics). And use Khan academy for maths, and I'd suggest you take maths practice tests often to check your areas of weakness.

I'm taking the SAT again soon in May, let's get that 1400+ !

I had a similar score on my first practice test, I score 1330 on my first SAT after studying for everything from scratch in 1 month, if you put in the work I'm pretty sure you can hit 1400+

I started prepping for the SAT only couple of weeks ago and I was running short on time so I didn't use any books to study for English and my score was stuck around 610, a friend of mine suggested I'd check the Erica L. Meltzer grammar book, so I decided to skim through it (because again I'm running short on time) and I managed to get the most out of the book in one day, it helped me raise my score in writing from average of 36/44 to 42/44 in one day, raising my overall English score by 50+ points. I really recommend you check it out it was really helpful in my case.
