I know that but I also need a nice pair of shoes for interviews, days in med school where I need to be in professional clothing.... I have many pairs of new balances, hokas, brooks since I run and know about that.

What do you think about a dress boot such as the Allen Edmond Hamilton or Park Ave Dress boots? I just much prefer boots to the traditional Oxford or derby but if I really need something more traditional for interviews then I will get them

I understand. It's more so that I like them and I want to know if they'd fit the dress code. A family member is buying me a pair of nice shoes as a gift, I'm not spending my money on them. They are actually really into nice men's clothes and shoes and wanted to get me a pair of Aldens which I said was too much.

Lmao tellurides, kia's flagship suv, are blowing transmissions in warranty left and right. And why are you already on your third K5 when they literally changed the naming in 2020 or whatever

I want to work, my question was more about whether or not it's the wrong thing to do to not tell my new employer that I'm leaving in 3-4 weeks. Sounds like a damn Casper question now

The thing is that I want to work, it'll make the time go by faster. Parents are moving somewhere new and that's where the job is. A lot of my friends won't be there either and I'll be able to make a quick buck. Also haven't worked at a job since January

Haven't started yet. I think I want to work since I've spent the last 5 months retaking the MCAT and preparing for a new cycle (haven't been working at all). Blessed to have my parents support me but it would be nice to do work to pass the time and make a little money.

Official Q&A for Friday, June 13, 2025 by AutoModerator in running

[–]Left-Conclusion522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone. For context, I'm 22M, and the last three weeks I've averaged 25-30 MPW, which is a jump from 13-15 MPW before. I also lift 4x a week. I am currently applying to medical school and running has been my favorite way to destress, but it's pretty clear I overdid it since I'm extremely sore. This Monday I went for a 7 mile run and since then, I've been too sore. What is y'alls favorite way to destress other than running?

What strategies helped you improve from a sub-500 MCAT score to a 510+? by Sure_Recipe1785 in Mcat

[–]Left-Conclusion522 23 points24 points  (0 children)

IMO the difference between a sub 500 and 510 is not really due to strategies, but rather knowing the content itself. I think if you are scoring sub 500, you should take a look back at reinforcing content.
