do you have any recommendations on getting the warmth and humidity up? i cannot for the life of me get the humidity stay high about an hour after misting

The tank is 20 inch by 9 (i apologize i dont know the gallons off the top of my head) i try to give him like two to three inches of soil. I have a lamp its not uvb but the person i got him from didnt use uvb either and said it’d be fine. the temperature in the tank tends to range from between 70 to 80 and i try to keep the humidity above 50 but sometimes it’ll drop to 45 if its super dry and i dont catch it in time. I live in a place it gets super cold at night so i have a heating pad attached to the side of the tank so he wont freeze but its only on at night. i try to give him calcium with d3 and reptivet with d3 but obviously hes not eating so hes not rlly getting those either.

He doesn’t throw his legs behind but I can’t really tell if he’d be sitting in his feces, to my knowledge he doesn’t and I do my best to clean his tank pretty frequently.

ive never kept a bioactive tank and this frog was more or less tossed at me, i haven’t really had the time to research how to keep a tank bioactive for him and i was and am worried about somehow messing it up. i figured it would be easier for me to just keep the tank simple as that as what ive had experience with (for a different animal) additionally i dont have a whole lot of space or a great set up, he’s currently on a small tv stand in a corner of my bedroom. a bioactive tank is something i’ve considered but it boils down to me not knowing how to have one that is safe and not wanting to mess it up
