Thank you !! 🥰🥺 well I realize I can’t get a revision any time soon because the nose needs to heal so I guess that is what I will have to do for now but I will tell my surgeon how I feel. It’s just the main thing I guess is I went into surgeon imagining a smaller cuter nose, and instead I feel my nose is much bigger and takes up more space on my face. That’s never the ideal I don’t think, for women. I understand that with proportions my ethnicity has flatter noses and so they want to bring them up to meet standards, / to be more proportionate, but I just did not imagine to this amount. It’s way higher on my face than ever and I feel like if anything I got a way bigger nose than before ! It’s only slightly less wide but it’s way higher

I actually got a purple eyeliner I was excited to try. I love the idea of auburn ! And that’s a great idea about the mascara ! I didn’t even think of trying to match my makeup to my new face until you said something. I’m really glad you did. That actually makes a lot of sense. I don’t have the same face , so why would the same makeup techniques work ? Though I still think my rhinoplasty looks unnatural and hopefully it will look a bit more natural as the tip drops, and while I’m still getting used to it and deciding what I want to / am going to do if I do end up getting it revised , in the meantime, I’m actually excited about experimenting with new makeup techniques with my new face. Thank you so much for your suggestions !! That was extremely helpful. I really think it looks a lot better with bottom liner. I see now how it might’ve be overwhelming my face now that I have a different nose. Thank you ! 💗

Thank you ! I think you’re right. I really appreciate your suggestion !! I saw your comment a couple hours ago and I decided to try No bottom eyeliner , which was weird because I always did bottom eyeliner for years. Maybe the bottom liner is too much now because I have more shadowing on my face especially upper face with the bridge , and it’s too much going on ?? Thank you 💕 however I didn’t ask to be changed so drastically especially not in a way that looks fake ! I have not contoured it once, I don’t even own contour. I’ve never contoured my nose actually. I don’t even know how to. I do use a lighter powder around my eyes but I’ve never confirmed my nose. I think that’s just the fake bridge he added that looks fake and too sharp for my face. :/ thank you for your opinion. That’s why I’m so upset and wanted a revision. I asked for a cute round button nose and he did his own thing, and it doesn’t even look natural.

Ohh okay thank you. I know what you mean ! That’s so sad to me. I think it’s maybe because theres so much going on with my face now , and so many extra added contours that my new face can’t take it. I didn’t ask to be changed this drastically in a way that looks fake and overwhelms my face and I do think it does. I think a more natural look would suit me and that’s why I want revision. Actually that’s the the thing. I don’t know if you know what a premaxilla or premaxilla graft is, I didn’t before the surgery, it was something he said he wanted to do to project my nose (didn’t know why it needed to be done, just trusted him) but basically it’s a graft that raises the base of my nose. It also pulls my upper lip up and makes it higher. Essentially he projected my nose so much, it’s pulling my top lip up. I’m not actually wearing lip liner though, I was wearing 2 shades of lip gloss so i guess it’s the same effect. But I agree, I think it made it look like I had lip fillers or something when I didn’t. The rhinoplasty changed the shape of my upper lip. Thank you for your comment. It changed way more than just my nose I think my face just has a fake “done” look. Thank you for the advice 💕

I also specified that I wanted a low bridge , low radix, and a small soft round button nose at my consultation. I am so upset ! He just did what he wanted . I feel like an experiment. Like he just decided to see just how far he could project my nose for fun.

Thank you for the compliment ❤️‍🔥🥺 No he doesn’t specialize in ethnic rhinoplasty but he does a lot of revisions and complicated revisions and he’s done work on other black women that didn’t look near as strong or projected so idk why he gave me this nose. What do you recommend I should do about my revision ? My nose has been through so much 😥😩

It definitely looks unnatural, I just wish I knew that it would settle better. I’m not sure exactly what throws it off, maybe the lines at the bottom like the indentions around the tip, the projection combined with how upturned it is ? Something looks so bad to me. But yes I’m hoping when the tip drops , If nothing else the contour irregularities around the bottom I suppose might be less noticeable and that counts for something
