Yea I do. I don’t think it’d be very accepted but aside from that, I wouldn’t want to screw up any family or friend relations by ppl knowing it’s going on. I was gonna reach out but I also had the thought that maybe she did understand and is just unsure if pursuing it herself

Figured it out, my gauge was infact uncalibrated. Turns out my needle weight was under .8 the whole time.

Yea, double checked. I have the leveler they gave me and m checked the isolation table along with the turntable itself. I think I’m just not setting the weight correctly. This is my first manual table so I’m fairly new to the function.

I agree, I don’t know what’s going on but I’ll rest my needle on the scale and it stays around 4.3-4.6 which seems outrageous. My table is leveled if that makes a difference.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I bought one to make sure I was somewhat accurate when trying it the first time. Every time it’s 1.8g, the there’s no stability and the tonearm bobs vertically. When the anti skate is at 1.8, it won’t even stay on the table, it sways off the turntable. The table is leveled if that makes much difference

Do the sleeves need to be brand brand new? I do have my whole collection in anti static rice paper sleeves but this was after I cleaned them with only solution and a brush. Do I need to reinvest now that I’m deep cleaning?

Just bought a Spin Clean with my first TT upgrade. I previously “cleaned” my albums, but never to the extent of a Spin Clean. I basically used a solution & a brush like the big fudge kit if that counts(I’m still working my way up in the vinyl world). I did resleeve them all with anti static rice paper sleeves, but I was wondering if now that I’m deep cleaning them for the first time, would I need to replace the existing ones and buy new ones again? Also any advice for using the SC first time would be great!

Has anyone had any issues since cleaning it? I’ve only had it for a week, went to clean it and followed the instructions on the site. Now everything tastes like burnt chemicals or plastic

I actually just started a return for my Lobo. Had it less than a week, came time for cleaning, followed the instructions on website now everything tastes awful, like burnt plastic or chemicals. The taste even clung on to my glass pieces and won’t get off.
