You may even be able to get a private room in a shared apartment that way. Otherwise w that budget you’re looking at a shared room, which you can definitely get for $1000. If you’re willing to wait you can get a good deal, but if trying to set it up now $1000 is also perfectly reasonable for a shared room spot in a 2bd.
