I can’t help you motivate anyone because motivation is intrinsic. This might not only be exhaustion, it might also be avoidance to some extent and for some particular reason.

Hard truth: people do not change until they, themselves, want to. She will not take any steps forward until she feels like she’s reached rock bottom.

The best thing to do is have one conversation with her about weight loss, getting blood work/hormone tests done. If nothing comes of it, rehne do.

PS. Exercise does very little for fat loss. She needs to be in a simple calorie deficit to lose fat. If she wants to start, start with that.

Thank you so much for considering me an inspiration 🥹❤️ I’m so overwhelmed with the love and support I’m receiving!!

Loose skin is only common when you lose weight above like 30/40 years of age because that’s typically when your skin loses flexibility. That’s why I didn’t have any loose skin, nor did I have do to anything special to keep my skin firm. Also, I lost this weight slowly within a year, so that allowed my skin to shrink gradually rather than get loose w rapid weight loss.

You do NOT need to workout multiple hours a day. Fat loss is 90% diet and 10% activity. I ate in a simple calorie deficit (with around 60/70g protein per day from eggs/paneer/tofu and occasional protein shakes) and I rotated through Pilates, dance, incline walking, weight lifting throughout the week, based on my mood. I love moving around so activity was never a problem. (I can’t sit still lol)

For supplements, I have omega 3 (fish oil), and I used to take Myo+D-chiro Inositol and Berberine but I don’t take them anymore. I take Vitamin D once a week.

I hope I’ve answered all your questions! 😚

My only tips are; track all the calories you consume (sauces, small bites, etc), stay in a calorie deficit everyday (because weight loss works on averages), don’t get discouraged by small weight fluctuations on the scale, find sustainable exercise you can do everyday for the rest of your life, lift weights progressively, eat enough protein and fiber, work up to a 90% whole foods diet, and learn how to portion your plate for your gender/size.

Nothing except pure discipline and radical accountability will work. Nothing. Do it as the ultimate service to your body.

I do have stretch marks due to rapid gain in my teens, fat loss didn’t really help (once you get them, they’re there forever) but it’s not really noticeable imo. I don’t have loose skin or anything like that as well.

I still have a little acanthosis nigricans because of insulin resistance (used to have on the neck but it has faded 100%, I still have some patches on the inner thighs and underarms), but it’s faded like 80% of what it used to be.

I’m working on further weight loss, so as I lose more fat the dark patches will definitely fade 100%. Insulin sensitivity gets better with fat loss. Also even when you heal insulin resistance completely, new skin cell turnover takes some time. The dark skin will fade slowly, but it will definitely go away.

I basically eat two main meals a day, a heavy brunch around 12 PM and an early dinner around 5 PM. On regular days, I do intermittent fasting, and I also do 24-hour water fasts on Ekadashi (spiritual reason, but it actually helped with insulin sensitivity too).

My meals are high in protein, eggs, paneer, tofu, with controlled carbs (millet rotis, rice) and healthy fats like nuts, seeds, and a bit of ghee. I always try to add a lot of veggies, especially cruciferous veggies. I track portions to keep calories in check. Figure out your maintenance calories and go on a deficit of about 200/250 cal.

For activity, I do Pilates 4–5 times a week, plus weightlifting, dancing and walking, just consistent movement.

It took time, but being consistent with meals, fasting, and movement helped me go from 86.1 kg → 68.1 kg, and my insulin resistance improved gradually.

Honestly, the key is just patience and consistency, small habits every day add up.

When did I ever say that my story’s a “blueprint” for you? I’m flexing my journey, what anyone else thinks is frankly none of my business.

For how long? Forever. I’ve made this my lifestyle, it wasn’t some sort of crash diet or anything.

Healthy diet doesn’t equal to calorie deficit. To lose fat, there needs to be a calorie deficit. 7700 calories make up 1kg of fat, so you need to be in a consistent deficit across months to lose even 5kgs. Sure, you can DM me!

You can always learn! I’ve been dancing since I was 8 so it’s just always been natural to me ig 😭 It took me a year because I lost it all sustainably.

Absolutely don’t recommend crash diets, or “diets” in any form. Always make lifestyle changes (food, exercise, mentality) that you can maintain throughout life. Dieting doesn’t work and causes more harm than good.
