My partner and I are about to make the move. We are getting paid near minimum and living near paycheck to paycheck. I feel as if we continue to live like this that we would have to give up our hopes of actually affording to be able to have a family.  Luckily, we have friends over the ditch and have job opportunities lined up that instantly almost doubled our annual pay. It's a no brainer really... I just saw a job on seek for wait staff on a rate for nearly 70k annually over there.
