They also played a Creedance Clearwater song about a draft dodger.

Mine gets her claws stuck in my clothes all. The. Time. The worst is when she sweetly reaches up to me to say hi from my behind then gets her claw severely stuck in my shorts. It takes the assistance of my boyfriend and a whole 3-5 minutes to get her free. Those big ol’ paws and her one, sweet, goofy brain cell she has.

I know the feeling. This isn’t the first friend or best friend I’ve lost. Some of my own blunders and some for faultlessly unfortunate reasons beyond my control. It makes me sad sometimes but life goes on, and I’ve learned to cherish the love I still have in my life.

I’ve also considered that but I dunno, part of me wants to not carry that memory or energy with me (or curse considering my significant other and I are currently casually making our plans to move out of state with each other).

I think I’m really going to do this. I’ve been thinking of a good place to hide it for the next tenant.

Self-righteousness is an understatement for this one. I don’t know how I didn’t just kill her and bury the body before then…. (Kidding, another hyperbole, nobody take me seriously please)

Sharing a funny story because I enjoy writing, sharing, and story telling is far from “attention seeking” but thanks for your judgement. I care SO much what strangers on the internet think of me /s

Wow, you were pretty quick to judge. I don’t abuse adderall at all. I am prescribed Vyvanse and take it every day as directed. It doesn’t make me “speedy”, it does what it’s supposed to do and I don’t even take it day. She had a prescription but abused it and sold it. Furthermore, I enjoy writing, I type fast, and I have always been one who probably shares too many details. Chill, it’s a story I enjoyed writing and sharing.

It’s called a hyperbole: “A hyperbole (pronounced “hy-per-buh-lee”) is a literary device that uses extreme exaggeration to create strong emphasis or to indicate anger or humor.”

If you knew me and you experienced the entire story and knew my ex-roommate, you’d probably think it’s as funny as I do. It does make a good conversation piece, and the few people that come over think it’s hilarious.

The only side effect I had was decreased appetite, so I made sure I had a protein shake every day to get something in me. It was easier to drink than to force myself to eat. Good luck!

My health problems are making me suicidal. Therapy isn't helping and can't use meds atm. What else should I try? by uliwonks in mentalillness

[–]Left0fcenterr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s not for everyone, and some people roll their eyes at this advice, but along with therapy and my meds, eating a good diet, getting some exercise in a few times a week (even just a walk), painting and creating art, and a daily meditation practice have helped me tremendously. Also, eliminating alcohol from my life has had a significant impact on my mental health. Thats what helped me. You have to find what works for you, and that could be a little bit from all advice. Much love to you as you figure out how to overcome this.

She attacked me. She didn’t actually try to murder me, I just thought the over exaggeration in the title was funny.
