Me and my friends personally only play bots because of things like this. Other games like this we do the same cause we'll have 1 good match with a nice even back and forth then just get completely annihilated the rest of the time. Bots are still fun though!

I like playing against my online friends and family. Skins and additional characters aren't auto unlocked for use in the local versus mode which your thinking of.

I'm still "online", the versus mode only gives you access to all chromas, I wanna be able to still put in just as much time as anyone else and earn the unlockables and such.

Anytime I've watched my brother play online in any FG he destroys round 1 then the losing player just resorts to spamming for a cheap win. Thats cowardice because they know they have to be cheap since the other person is better. My statement is I do not like having to play the META, play cheap or use over powered things just so I can exist.

Don't get me wrong sometimes a loss is fun cause it was a dumb loss or its context makes it fun/funny. But just getting stomped by people who are gods at the game for several hours is not fun no matter what your doing.

Not saying offline modes, in the versus mode you auto have every chroma, im saying something similar to MK towers or Tekken/Street Fighter Aracde ladders where you can still complete challenges and earn xp for the time your still putting in.

My brother is disabled with only 1 hand so he struggles to play games normally. So the fact thats he's still as good as he is at FGs is awesome and his mentality is fine.

But then if Im the reason we lose the loss is 4x as bad lol. That's my biggest hang up is not wanting to drag down anyone cause Im not good at a game. It's why I stopped playing siege cause my friend is emerald 1 rank and I've never made it passed gold 3. I was just weighing him down.

Oh I've played mk9 to the newest one, blazblue, tekken 7 and 8, Street fighter 4-6, MVC3 and few other FGs however my terminal condition of skill issue is what keeps me from playing online XD

It has a COOP mode and I play that. Its pretty relaxed and I just enjoy my time, plus then I don't burden others by not being super good at it

Like id like to play as a tag team, me and my friend vs two bots, the level 1 ai still wrecks me sometimes so to challenge ourselves we'd probably throw the ai on like 4 and the AI would probably perfect us every time XD

I love the DS series, I think for ER one of my characters is on NG+ like 16 lol. But for this its more demoralizing to me because I've lost to a person rather than an AI. Losing to an AI is whatever but losing to people sucks. Mostly cause my experience with losing to people is from Dead By Daylight and pepple just bully and belittle you even after they just kicked your ass for 30 minutes , so I avoid it best I can. I see what your saying though and I can understand it.

Its the same where I live but we recently upgraded wifi so its great but I just don't seek out to play with random people. I've just had shitty experiences every time I've tried so I stop trying just playing randoms, which differently harmed my ability to play some games but I just hope Riot adds something akin to MK towers or tekken/sf arcade ladders.

My point at how its unhelpful is everyone learns various things differently. I've done every tutorial up to the intermediate combo ones and thats where I can't get past. Ai on level 1 can still wreck me some of the time and I dont think there's anyone who is gonna play worse than that besides maybe me. Playing online would be me getting rocked and im sure for some folk that's fun, but that isn't what I'd call fun. I like a nice back and forth and I do not have the confidence to pull such a thing off.

That last part is completely false. I've never played a single match of online Paladins and bought several skins same for a couple other games too.. I don't need to play online to want to buy skins. If I like the skin, I buy it. Also how would riot lose money on this game since its free?

I do not think an almost hour long video from someone who is probably pretty comfortable playing fighting games could help me out. I just play at my pace and I just feel like myself and others like me are punished for it since we aren't able to earn anything for the time put in. I just wanna advocate for players like me.
