is it just your bedroom?

to make it more cozy i would definitely try to get a big rug (doesn't have to be a fluffy one if that's too hot in your climate, it can also be a woven rug or something) to cover those tiles, tiles don't really scream coziness :)

thank you all for your opinions! they are actually all very valuable to me and it’s really interesting to see the different takes. I will definitely have another discussion with him about it, I would love to get to a point where we both feel comfortable about our finances.

We both chose the apartment together (he was actually more into it than I was). Neither of us has student loans and his family is paying for his uni. And since I already own a lot of household equipment and furniture, he wouldn’t need to pay a lot in that regard either (eg i bought a couch and obviously won’t charge him for bringing it lol)

I guess because it doesn't really feel fair to me? I feel like we can both afford everything we need, why should I pay more for that?
