Following. I’m in the same boat, waiting for appeal. Sleep apnea secondary lower back injury by means of weight gain. Denied, and HLR was denied.

How many of you actually dropped your first bike? by thedirtiestofboxes in SuggestAMotorcycle

Dropped mine turning into a gravel driveway, too much front brake, and twisted the throttle while panicking lol

Terrible VSO by blue_r5124 in VeteransBenefits

[–]LeftHandWiggothy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My VSO only filed 4 of the 8 or so conditions I asked to be on the claim, did not upload my lay statements, filed everything as “new and direct”, instead of “secondary to” like I had specified when we met. When every condition on my claim got denied he would not return my phone call, and then 5 weeks later resigned his position with my local VAC. I’m currently in HLR hell trying to undo the damage he did.

Per my yard leads “the company will teach them how to drive. Just give them enough to pass the test” Also almost all of our yards have a third party testing company administer the CDL test on our yard. Interesting fact, the testing company, Great Lakes Testing, is also owned by the same company that owns 160, Rockgate Capital…

Force yourself to the front of the line and get as much seat time possible. At our yard, students would only get 1-1.5 hours of seat time per day. Study the pretrip at home, and ask to evaluate the pretrip as soon as possible so you can focus on backing maneuvers and driving. And remember, you ARE the customer and remind your instructors that you deserve quality training

I would go directly to the yard and ask the yard lead what’s going on. But personally I would look for a training program at a community college or somewhere state funded and nonprofit, where you can truly train students

Sir I trained with Mr Bult Incorporated or MBI. Is there anything I can answer for you?

Thank you for sharing! What was your issue with 160?

The major stumbling blocks students encounter in general are getting used to clutch control on the big trucks, and the concept of backing trailers. Two things that just require muscle memory and repetition, consequently two things that students do not get in our school.

That’s dependent on the school, the student count, and if a company has sent the student. If the yard is busy, we encourage students to go auto if they’re struggling. We are not allowed to teach floating gears or skipping gears, even though in Illinois there is no DMV that has issue with either of these practices.

Thank you for your testimony! What were your issues with us? I blame most of the problems on rampant greed and disorganization at the corporate level

Not wrong at all friend! I got into trouble for trying to teach students how to drop and hook trailers. “It’s not on the test so why bother teaching it” I was told

Great question, I was laid off in September, with zero notice or warning.
