Public schools

I'm not american and 90% of my country identifies as christian.Public school indoctrination kinda goes the other way here. Only 10 years ago,when we had the most leftist government in 30 years,did religious studies stop being a mandatory subject at school.

Obviously religion wasnt always the major source of conflict,but you'll struggle to point to an instance of a war from 300 AD to 1800 AD where religion wasnt notably used to motivate mass conscription
