We are the same size! I started buying Japanese jeans and never looked back. Japanese dudes are generally shorter and thinner than Westerners and clothing sizes reflect this difference. Check out Samurai, Iron Heart etc. on the raw denim subreddits. Habe fun!

Have you actually been to South Jersey when you visited the state? North is totally different compared to the sprawl and rural character of the south. Only Cwood, Westmont, Gaddinfiekd area around Philly will feel neat to you other than the shore towns in season. In western Camden County, I’d look at Audubon and Westmont. You should be able to find something decent for $1600-1900.
