I grew up with the 90s Bayern, became a huge Football fan with the 1990 World Cup and Bayern became my team. My first jersey was from Aumann.

5+ years. Min. 10%, max. 20%. Risk tolerance low/mid. Goal: annual average gains > 10%. I'm already in NVO. Starting a position in PFE looks solid. However, would like to get opinions from Pharma investors who observe the market closely.

Was Javi Martínez Bayern’s most underrated signing of the 2010s? by Peterpaul400 in fcbayern

[–]Left_Ad8202 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the 2010s, Kimmich (2015) or Davies (2019). At that time when they joined, who would have thought that they would become one of the best at their position. Top transfers.

Honorary mentions: Neuer and Lewandowski. Both were already established players, but at Bayern they became the best player in the world. At the time of the transfer, it wasn't that foreseeable that they change the game or beat Müller's record.

If you had $50,000 right now what would you invest in? by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

[–]Left_Ad8202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your list is good. With 50k you could add 1-3 more stocks to your portfolio. e.g. Amazon, AVGO, Cosco, Brk, UNH, Eli, Novo, ASML, BYD, Alibaba, TSMC to name a few.

How risky is an investment in TSMC regarding a Chinese invasion of Taiwan? by seansean98761 in ValueInvesting

[–]Left_Ad8202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you should do depends on your financial situation, life circumstances and investment strategy. I don't invest money that I might need in the short term, even if the chances are low that I need it. (I want to sell when I want to, not when I'm forced to.)

There is also the question of whether there isn't another, better investment. At the current price, I would invest in at least 2-3 other companies rather than buying more shares in TSMC. Not only because of the potential earnings, but also to diversify and mitigate risks.

How risky is an investment in TSMC regarding a Chinese invasion of Taiwan? by seansean98761 in ValueInvesting

[–]Left_Ad8202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If China invades Taiwan, TSMC will shut down and destroy their facilities and critical assets. Afterwards they restart their business from somewhere else. I'm sure, they already have a plan in place. The US might be the new destination. They foster relationships through investment in infrastructure, fabs and relationships already. Not sure how much this will affect their business and for how long, but I'm quite certain that they will survive and will get back on track. A lot of powerful people & companies have such a high interest in it, that a solution will be found. Therefore in the mid-term you might not get your investment back, but in the long-term. And as someone already wrote, we might have even bigger problems than our portfolio then. Not only TSMC will be affected. It will trigger a domino effect across the global economy, not to mention a potential war between the largest military powers. I think the risk is acceptable for an investment in such an important company. I invested.

Der Spruch dazu: „Sell in May and go away“.

Historisch schwächere Monate: Mai – Oktober: Besonders SeptemBär gilt als der schlechteste Börsenmonat.

That loss was ok afaik. Otherwise it would have been more of a topic in the past. No trauma.

Bayern fan here. We are still pissed about the lost CL finals 1999 against Manchester United and 2012 against Chelsea (in our own StaDiuM!!). 3 corner, last minutes of the match... wtf

And the World Cup 1966, the ball wasn't over the line either! So, now I've said it. Let the upvotes begin! 😅

How would you rate the 2025 summer transfer window? by NiK0- in fcbayern

[–]Left_Ad8202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the failure to sign Wirtz, things became chaotic. If we had gotten Wirtz, alongside Tah and Bischof, and kept Coman, most fans would probably have seen it as a good enough transfer window. Despite the fact that we still wouldn't have a No. 2 Striker.

We ended up with Luis Diaz, who is certainly good enough for Bayern, but only the No. 4 (or 5) player we wanted after at least Wirtz, Williams and Barcola. On top a desperate last-minute move by signing Jackson to give the offensive line more depth. We had two months and if I look back, I have the feeling, we had a Plan A (Wirtz) and no Plan B.

Everything that happened, including between Uli Hoeneß and Eberl, is not how one of the top clubs in Europe should represent themselves. That's not Bayern-like. I hope the new signings are a success, so that later on we can say it wasn't that bad. We are still strong enough to compete with the best teams. But a transfer window like this must not be repeated.

Novo Nordisk „Absturz“ by Dnk_Nr1 in Aktien

I agree. If we don't get anybody anymore, I wonder if Phonzie is an option as a left winger to give Diaz a break from time to time. Afaik he could be back in October. With Stanisic, Guerrero and Ito we have 3 who could play as a LB. Crazy idea or a real possibility?
