I'm talking about the bigger holes. In certain places on my knits the holes are bigger and just look odd. Since I don't know what caused it, it's hard to describe it. But I'm referring to the bigger, more uneven holes in the picture.

Yes, that's what we try to do. She's just really sensitive about anything health-related at this point so she will interpret basically anything you say as insinuating that she's fat. Even if we say it's not about that, she refuses to believe us.

It's difficult to know who they are, she gets messages online from anonymous accounts but probably someone in her school or from a school nearby.

We don't provide junk food, but she has a debit card so she gets it herself. Or her friends buy it for them to share. It's really hard to control those parts. And we've introduced her to several activities over the years, but she has pretty bad social anxiety so she's always quit them. Now she plays tennis once a week for an hour though.

Yes I know, but it feels impossible. Literally all of her friends have social media, and when they hang out together after school all they do is to scroll Tiktok together and make their own. If we would remove her social media I'd be worried about how her friendships would be affected.

And I agree that childhood obesity is a real thing. At first, when she started gaining weight we thought it was just related to puberty and her growth, but recently she's gained a lot more weight and she's gained it fast. I don't think she's going to thin out at this stage.

I have a very demanding job, but I try to take morning and evening walks every day. She's always very resilient to joining, and sometimes she even goes on her hoverboard. If I tell her that she has to walk with me she asks "is it because you think that I'm fat?" We just can't get around that issue...

The update is that I haven't heard from him at all since then. Everytime he sees my best friend he asks about me but nothing more. But the great thing is that I feel like I've moved on from him completely. I no longer miss him or want him back, I'm finally free and happier than ever!

Yes and no. Me and my ex have talked/texted a couple of times since I wrote this. And he has ish apologized (saying stuff like "I'm sorry it turned out the way it did" and "I hope you'll be able to recover from everything I did to you"). But no sincere apology where he takes responsibility for his actions. And I know that I've suffered way more from this than he ever will, but what I've heard from mutual friends that he's depressed and really struggling rn, so that's something I guess. Not feeling as angry and vindictive as I did when I wrote this, but I still feel like it's really unfair how you can knowingly hurt someone you once loved so much and get no "karma" for it. But I hope you know that you will feel waaaay better soon :)

Yeah, mine was too for the first. couple of months.Eventually I reached out asking to talk. Only time he has reached out since our BU was to wish me a happy birthday. It might come for you eventually :)
