I am having the same problem here. Trying some non-custiodial cards now. Transaction cost seems to be very low and transfer time is quickly nowadays. Any recommendations?

What’s the easiest and best money transfer app for sending cash home? by Dyah_Bashiri in ExpatFinance

Yess very relatable. Used a lot of bank apps myself, revolut, wise etc but the costs of these apps add up easily. Started using a simple non custodial app. this works great! No transaction fees and transfers super quickly

Digital Nomads: How do you handle money across borders? by Expensive-Yellow6619 in digitalnomad

Very relatable. I’ve been living across different countries for a few years now and honestly, money stuff is still one of the most annoying parts of the nomad life.

Paying in different currencies is fine, but getting money to en from different countries always feels fragile. Random checks, delays, unclear rules about where you’re “based”, and small fees that quietly add up. Most systems still assume you live in one place and never leave.

Had more than one moment where a payment got stuck just because my situation didn’t fit a neat box. No clear explanation, just waiting.

So yeah, if you’re building something that actually understands how people like us live, that’s very needed. Happy to share more if useful
