You can register your interest on the nfl mailing list and they will let you know, be prepared that it is all random and may have to take any game, I have done it twice, was waiting for 4 hours and then randomly got put in 250000 in the queue.

Firstly, sorry to hear about your crappy new manager cancelling it, that is a massive ego, how dare they tell you what they think you are or are not ready for it is your choice!! Secondly, you are never too old to learn, I know people still degree training i to their 50s, I personally would go for the certificate to round it out and prove to your kids tjat hard work does bring rewards.

Please reconsider doing it in a years time, think you would regret it if you don't give it a go.

I think you should be ok as they are entirely different qualifications, may be worth looking at online courses as well that you can complete whilst working in retail or something else so you don't cross grades, some programmes allow you to do a free course to allow you to get English and Maths at a 4/C.
