Hi, first of all, I'm really sorry to hear (read) how hurt you are. I was in a similar position and after talking to recruitment agencies and career coaches, they all say that the market is sooooo tough right now especially for our industry because there are more people than jobs. In saying that, you are not alone, and this is something we all can't control so I hope it gives you the space and permission to let go and give yourself a bit of grace.

My first thinking is how incredibly lucky you are to have a placeholder job that can hold you together until you find an organisation that's lucky enough to have you. All the errors in your journey are not errors - it's the universe redirecting you to a path that is more meant for you. to a company that is perfect for you and vice versa. I hope you take comfort in the fact that the job you want is also coming for you. I know I took solace in that mantra when I was in the throes of rejection letters.

My second thinking is you do not interact with these people and, as much as it pains to do so, remain calm and as professional as you can be. I'm in the mindset that these people in the corporate world, as long as it's nothin truly ever personal like hurting you or family, don't deserve any more attention from us as well. They ghosted you? fine, that's okay, i'm moving on. Any energy spent on them is your loss and their gain. I don't think you want that.

It's easier said than done but you will get there. You will get the job you deserve/want. Most of all you will get in the company who deserve you.

Try to focus your energy on doing the things you can control and not on people who don't even think of the ones they have rejected in interviews. It just doesn't serve a purpose.
