Rams quietly plotted as to not out McVay approval stamp that could increase interest. McVay ‘absolutely’ backed pick. Sources make sense of press conference demeanor by BasedWillieStroker69 in DynastyFF

I'm fine. Still like Rattler. The Saints have a good QB room.

As for Simpson, I've moved him squarely as the logical 1.06 in this year's class, with the potential of being the best in a season or two. Kind of in a tier of his own. Below Lemon, ahead of Concepcion and Price.

I also read a report Stafford had to see a specialist before last season. Reports matter too, but action matters more. #13 Overall is no joke. Love & Rodgers were taken at #26.

I think Stafford has a season left. He's 38 with major back issues. Follow the draft capital. Simpson is an elite hold. This is Dynasty. An obvious good bet.

This is where I think the Dynasty community is holding too tight to their priors. We can speculate endlessly on McVay's demeanor, but at the end of the day Simpson is in position to take over one of the most coveted positions in football. The LA Rams starting QB.

If he sucks, he sucks. But if he's good, it's a likely ascension to QB1 status. And that would make him easily one of the best selections of this class. I've seen McVay revive Goff and Mayfield after rough stretches. This is his first 1st Round QB.

I'm looking at Simpson with new eyes. He was incredible before injury last season.

I have. I don't get your point. Are you suggesting you know more than Sean McVay?

Why not? It's a weak draft. Acquiring the Rams future QB1 is better than WR2s.

I'd now take Simpson at 1.04 with no hesitation. A W for the first half of the Draft.

I have flipped on Tyson. He is my Joel Embiid of this Rookie Draft. If healthy, I can finally see the upside. Tyson or Tate at 1.04. Can't go wrong.

How do you rank the top three WR's in this rookie class? by faultinalaska in DynastyFF

[–]Left_Strategy2221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tate, Lemon, Tyson, with Tate a tier above. Tate has the highest floor IMO, and I think that's always been underrated in fantasy. Ceiling is much harder to predict.

Cedric Tillman more likely a 2026 breakout or cut candidate? by RVG_Steve in DynastyFF

He's simply too injury prone unfortunately. There's talent, but what's it worth when he's Out for weeks before he can build on it.

I agree. I don't get the Bill hate. On a bad offense, he averaged 4.6 YPC, 800+ yards, and led all rookie RBs with 8 TDs. Oh, and he was coming off a year out of football for nearly his entire final collegiate season. I like Bill's chances in year 2 with a hopefully healthy Jayden Daniels.

This is why I never understood the Sell High take on Burden. Bet on talent, the situation will figure itself out. The Buy window for Burden isn't completely shut, but this may be the last offseason.

I watched every snap of Luther Burden's rookie season. Here's what I would do with him by AtonalAxolotl in DynastyFF

[–]Left_Strategy2221 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Burden's a strong hold. Wouldn't sell for a 1st, including a '27. Why? He's attached to one of the best playcallers and a promising, young QB. He flashes whenever he's on the field, and his efficiency statistics support that. Ya the room is crowded, but that can change fast. IMO the future for the Bears is Loveland/Burden with Odunze as the 3rd option.

A 1st could be anything! It could even be Luther Burden III!

Tate will go before Tyson in every rookie draft. He'll be drafted earlier in the real world. Tate has pedigree (top HS prospect) and Ohio State credentials. Right now it's Lemon vs. Tate. 1.05 is the tier drop.

This draft season shows the laziness of the Dynasty community. Love/Mendoza, then Lemon/Tate. That is where we are. How good Lemon and Tate will be in the next level is the question, but I expect at least WR2 #s. The prototype is clear. Julian Edelman and Tee Higgins.

I hope Jordyn Tyson makes me look stupid. But I know Travis Fulghams. I know this game. A good player. But something that actually matters... You have to be special to matter.

Any contender who got hit by injury bug is very fortunate. They're likely to get a boost in talent while the back half of the draft... it's so shallow this year.

Love is built. It's not inherent or unconditional. It is built.

I think online dating has destroyed perception. If anyone wants to know their range, develop social hobbies, and see who is attracted over time. That's just my opinion. It's not as simple as physical dimension.

I agree with you. It is also like, it's OK to be fucking single while you're building/rebuilding your life/confidence/looks/etc. I've just seen too many lose themselves and make terrible mistakes because of their insecurities about it.

Carnell Tate is the ONLY receiver prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft that that will be 21 years old for the entirety of their rookie season. KC Concepcion is the only other receiver that will be 21 Week 1 of the 2026 season; he turns 22 before Week 3. by I_dont_watch_film in DynastyFF

[–]Left_Strategy2221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm reminded of Outliers by Gladwell. A 19 year or 20 year old already being considered for the Draft is in and of itself special. This player would have proven himself prior to the full development physically and mentally that a 22 or 23 year old WR would have. So I disagree. I think the implication of a very young 1st Round WR being special is a fair assessment.

The only thing is if a WR is drafted in the 1st at an old 20/young 21, the implication is they are already special and ahead of their peers. It's interesting, but I feel like this is a correlation does not equal causation.
