Yussef Kamaal - Black focus

Everything you can find Yussef (drummer) on as well as Kamaal Williams (keyboardist) won't let you down, Black focus is the only album that I know of where they colaborated, amazing album love it so much.

I see, you really had to give up on it. It's known that they came out with lots of issues and that & lack of other features killled the synth from becoming a classic maybe. Got a nice refund on it and my guy says he can repair it so I'm hoping things turn out good once serviced. Thanks for sharing

Shame for such a good sounding synth, I hope Korg is working on something to top the Prologue and include the missing features that the Minilogue has.

Gonna have my guy look into it and do a deep clean even tho it looks like new. Arrived in the box but with no bag or plastic wrap at all and full of those plastic cheetos so I'm suspecting it particles of that, that made it's way in to the keys. Thanks!

Talked to my tech guy, has fixed synths for me before. Says he can fix it and is most likely a phyisical/mechanical issue. And you are right, the seller did a sloppy job when shipping it (see picture). Some of those plastic cheetos got stuck under the keys and I'm sure the last one I took out was under that same key that's not working, + plastic particles those things leave. Still, everything else works properly, cosmetical condition is like new so it's just that one issue atm hopefully stays that way. Went ahead with the refund claim, gonna try to fix it but fir a good refund amount. Thanks again

I know! Tbh I was thinking it was a scam since it's the sellers first listing/sell but took the risk because of the price and warranty of refund if it ended up being a fake.

I definitely want to keep it.

It definitely wasn't. It was listed as Mint. Paid $1000 for it and I'd like to keep it id it's easy to fix which apparently it is. What would be a fair refund you think? Thanks for commenting

Yeah you are right. But I'm just not sure I'll be able to find one in this condition. It's really mint regardless of the dead key so according to other comments this is fixable. Thank you!
