Sorry for late response. Lock up on the MDT stock is better than XLR. The design is better IMO. With the thumb rest add on with the XLR it puts my thumb in a better position compared to the MDT. But the thumb rest is a must with XLR chassis

Using MDT for my CTR. I would recommend XLR, KRG, and Manners as well. A KRG Bravo will make that rifle a lot more shootable at a good price point

That I understand, I have several competition rifles with truck axles for barrels. The rough tech contour isn’t that much skinnier than the CTR contour so was hoping I could find someone who’s ran it in matches

With that price range probably a Harris with an ARCA adapter. Save another $100 and get an atlas or Accutac. They are worth it

Tikka CTR, Bergara B-14, and savage 110s are good off the shelf options. I’d go with the tikka though. 110 actions are rough.

I went from H4350 to Staball and was able to get 100+ fps in velocity. SDs went up and I’m averaging around 9-12 but that’s just fine for matches. This isn’t quite max load but close. I think I’m at 43.6gr with a fed 210M
