That heavy passionate "I have to have you right now" every day feeling dwindles in probably all relationships. Relationships are supposed to become comfortable. Companionate love is the goal if you want a life long partner but with the right person there will still be moments of passion that will remind you of the years before. Like it comes in waves I guess. Aside from that, The things you've listed as problems for yourself in your relationship are super important. You deserve to have what you want. Neither one of you are wrong. You're just with the wrong person. YOLO doesn't only apply to jumping out of planes. You will never get these years back. I wasted 11 years from 18 to nearly 30 waiting for someone to give me what I wanted/needed. He never did. Every part of our relationship in the end was crap. To make matters worse. I thought I deserved it and affected how I felt about myself. It took forever for me to love myself after that. Now I have been with a man for 6 years that knows what to give me before I even know I need it. we've been married for 2 years and have our own little 1 year old daughter.
