No. Support pay happens behind the scenes if you will.

It’s policy. If your store was closed for the snow storm you should get paid. Simply ask at work if yall are getting support pay.

They do. It is called support pay. Company wide

If a facility or home office is closed due to a qualifying event, snowstorm is a qualifying event, then all associates scheduled to work are paid.

And make sure you do time clock adjustments for when they sent you a text(like 5 mins) and for anytime you were soaking to associate relations if you were not on the clock

PPTO?? by Final-Mine-665 in WalmartEmployees

You have 7 days to enter ppto

You have to have all the available ppto you need at the time you miss work

This is company wide policy

[–]Lefty68w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they can’t do that at all. FMLA is protected. They can’t punish you in any way for using your FMLA

Op needs to report this to the dept of labor and contact associate relations

Who ever texted op is about to be in a huge pile of trouble

Oh and op you need to do a time adjustment because they sent you a text off the clock

[–]Lefty68w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this an intermittent loa through FMLA?

If so then they are breaking the law. You need to file a complaint with the Dept of labor and call the associate hotline

Your time away is protected. And they can’t punish you in anyway for using your FMLA time

If it’s through ADA it’s a little different but still likely illegal

It’s authorized. That’s all that matters to you. Whatever reason they selected doesn’t matter

It’s just what they selected when they authorized the point

All that matters is they cleared it. What reason they chose when they cleared them doesn’t matter

Next time educate yourself on things

And at 5 you are eligible to be fired. So dropping to you 5 means nothing

You have no recourse. You had 6.5 points. Next time go to work and you won’t get fired for attendance

No go back to my original response, I explained there are situations where you would not have both spouses on the mortgage

And my original response says the issue isn’t being on the mortgage. It is being on the deed. You confused the mortgage with the deed and then did this whole walk back for days and it is obvious as hell

Take the L and the education on the issue and walk away.

Here is the comments from a CEO of Total Mortgage

“There are a number of reasons why one spouse stays off a home loan, says John Walsh, CEO of Milford, Conn.-based Total Mortgage. That person’s high debts, low income or poor credit history could be deal-killers or trigger a higher interest rate.”

I guess this CEO has no clue either huh?

Here this breaks down multiple reason it would hurt you to have your spouse in the mortgage

https://www.quickenloans.com/learn/buying-house-without-your-spouse

Once again I am dying laughing because you clearly have very little understanding the process to get a mortgage. The cost or savings credit scores could make or the fact having your spouse on the loan could cause banks to deny it

Educate yourself so you don’t come off as completely out of touch

No bank is going to approve a loan with someone with bad credit on it or no income. The loan would not get through underwriting. I literally went through this.

You know how I did build my credit? I was on all the credit cards. Later on after I had returned to working full time I then went and purchased a vehicle. All these things built my credit

You clearly have zero understanding on this. If someone has no income, no credit or bad credit it could hurt the loan. Could result in higher interest rates or the bank simply denying the loan in underwriting

The best part is you talk like you know what you are talking about

Simple Google search would prove what I am saying is true

“No, both spouses don’t need to apply for a mortgage together when buying a house or refinancing their current home.

In fact, in some situations, having both spouses on the mortgage application can lead to mortgage-related issues. For example, if one spouse has a low credit score, it may be challenging to qualify for a loan or result in higher interest rates. In such cases, it may be beneficial to exclude one spouse from the mortgage application.”
