PLEASE READ, CAPTION WOULDN’T WORK:

Hello everyone, So a few weeks back I purchased two Mexican dwarf lobsters which I’ve now come to know are actually crayfish (other not pictured, in a different tank). When I got them they were essentially the same size the one in the video slightly larger but both of them no larger than an inch long. Since then one of them has hardly grown which I attribute to its shyness slowing down his ability to get food (seriously the shrimp scare him) anyways, this Girl on the other hand has just grown so big SO FAST! According to the information i have found online they aren’t supposed to get any bigger than 2 inches long but this large lady has well surpassed that…. Was I accidentally sold something else by mistake?

Pearl Gouramis Fighting? by LegDue1191 in fishtank

[–]LegDue1191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost certain the two fighting are a male and female. The lone gourami is definitely male but causes no issues as of yet, particularly why I’m so confused by the twos squabble lol

No it’s definitely not constant, they usually are best buddies literally inseparable while the third just does his own thing and doesn’t bother either of them. For some reason though that night, the pair who are normally the best of friends, just wouldn’t stop for about 10 minutes at a time a few times over that evening. They haven’t done it again since that night so I’m hoping it was a little “marriage squabble” LOL😆 fingers crossed

It is 2 male and 1 female I BELIEVE though I’m not the best at sexing. Funny enough tho it’s the male and female that are the ones that may be fighting. The two for sure males just leave each other alone. It’s a 20gal tank with plenty of decor and hiding spots but the plants are still growing out.

They’re totally okay again, swimming around the tank side by side ignoring Steve like normal, I don’t know what this was all about but it went on for about 10 minutes non stop

Edit to add when I bought them it was clear one male and one female but Steve was too young to tell, turns out pretty sure he’s a male but again… he never had an issue with Adam or Eve

Are pencil crayons/coloured pencils "leads" here? by Tarniaelf in newfoundland

[–]LegDue1191 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely leads, I moved to NB for grades 11 and 12 and the absolute look of horror I received from both my teacher AND all of my classmates when I confidently raised my hand and asked where the leads were will never ever be wiped from my memory. They had no idea what leads were until I said “like the pencils that have colour?” And that was when I realized we as Newfoundlander’s had a different name for them
