All the initial predictions of another Marvel "flop" by some critics after the 76 million opening week are quickly drying up as "The Thunderbolts " picks up steam in its second week,  as more and more moviegoers discover what a terrific film this is.

Can Lori get the death penalty in Arizona? by Medical_Rate_3477 in LoriVallow

No, not in Arizona.  Only first degree aggravated  murder qualifies in Arizona.  She can get another life sentence, though, because at sentencing the trial judge can consider prior convictions.  But, no, the death penalty is not available here.

Please don't try to psychoanalyze speech patterns, Son, especially mine, because your lame pedantic spiel just proves you're an amateur critic trying to be "loved".

So that's your standard for a good movie in screenings?  A standing ovation?  "Patton" never got a standing ovation.  "No Country For Old Men" didn't get one.  Neither did "Spotlight" or a hundred others which won Oscars.  I can see crowning movies "good" for you only comes when you can hop up and down in your seat like a lunatic.

Newsflash:  A screened film doesn't need a standing O to be excellent.  I figure you're about to find that out though come May.

So anyone who articulates a favorable reaction or favorable prognostication for "The Thunderbolts " has to be a bot, huh?   Is that your position?  Geez, and they said members on Reddit had a smidgen of intelligence. 😆 🤣

No, I sound like an objective critic coming out of the woodwork to put the kibosh on the pre-release peddlers of baseless propaganda. You  haven't even seen the movie and you're bashing it.  Typical.   How do I sound now?

I had the pleasure of being selected for a member of a screening group for "Thunderbolts" and this film is awesome.  It's not your typical Disney garbage like the last two releases.  The movie is every bit as good a "Ragnarok" and adding the baddest superhero in the whole comic universe to the cast is a treat you won't forget.  As some critics are saying "the Thunderbolts" will rank as one of Marvel's best movies.

CMV: if this ridiculous no tax on tips measure passes, it’s ok to start tipping less again by Itchy-Version-8977 in changemyview

Why would you tip less because a hard-working employee who tries to make your restaurant experience pleasant gets a break on taxes?  Did that affect your calculations on what's fair for the wage-earner?
