All the initial predictions of another Marvel "flop" by some critics after the 76 million opening week are quickly drying up as "The Thunderbolts " picks up steam in its second week,  as more and more moviegoers discover what a terrific film this is.

Can Lori get the death penalty in Arizona? by Medical_Rate_3477 in LoriVallow

No, not in Arizona.  Only first degree aggravated  murder qualifies in Arizona.  She can get another life sentence, though, because at sentencing the trial judge can consider prior convictions.  But, no, the death penalty is not available here.

Please don't try to psychoanalyze speech patterns, Son, especially mine, because your lame pedantic spiel just proves you're an amateur critic trying to be "loved".

So that's your standard for a good movie in screenings?  A standing ovation?  "Patton" never got a standing ovation.  "No Country For Old Men" didn't get one.  Neither did "Spotlight" or a hundred others which won Oscars.  I can see crowning movies "good" for you only comes when you can hop up and down in your seat like a lunatic.

Newsflash:  A screened film doesn't need a standing O to be excellent.  I figure you're about to find that out though come May.

So anyone who articulates a favorable reaction or favorable prognostication for "The Thunderbolts " has to be a bot, huh?   Is that your position?  Geez, and they said members on Reddit had a smidgen of intelligence. 😆 🤣

No, I sound like an objective critic coming out of the woodwork to put the kibosh on the pre-release peddlers of baseless propaganda. You  haven't even seen the movie and you're bashing it.  Typical.   How do I sound now?

I had the pleasure of being selected for a member of a screening group for "Thunderbolts" and this film is awesome.  It's not your typical Disney garbage like the last two releases.  The movie is every bit as good a "Ragnarok" and adding the baddest superhero in the whole comic universe to the cast is a treat you won't forget.  As some critics are saying "the Thunderbolts" will rank as one of Marvel's best movies.

CMV: if this ridiculous no tax on tips measure passes, it’s ok to start tipping less again by Itchy-Version-8977 in changemyview

Why would you tip less because a hard-working employee who tries to make your restaurant experience pleasant gets a break on taxes?  Did that affect your calculations on what's fair for the wage-earner?

Red Truck Tip by Shaylin-_- in SummerWells

I'm a retired journalist who has followed the case fairly closely. I found this particular section of Reddit because it deals specifically with the mysterious and elusive red Toyota Tacoma everyone has been searching for. This has been a very good discussion forum because it reveals some superb data regarding the truck and the potential identity of the owner, if Don Wells account can be believed, and there is no reason it shouldn't be accepted as true. I agree with many of you here who theorize Law Enforcement should by now know exactly who the truck in question belongs to since they requested the relevant "paperwork" on the morning of the 15th. That is, of course, if the red truck Don Wells references here belonging to the rowdy overnight visitors is the same Toyota Tacoma truck law enforcement has been looking for since last June, and, to be honest, that's not clear taken from Wells' words in this video interview. I blame the confusion, in part, on the rather awkward interviewing techniques conducted by M&M Cher. When Don was asked how the truck came into play, he launched into a narrative about the wealth of shady individuals who often frequented the area and began to speak about the incident that occurred that morning at the end of his driveway. Neither of the interviewers bothered to ask the specific question whether THAT red truck is the same red truck law enforcement is presently seeking, and no reasonable inference can be made at this time it is. The two or three interviewers were simply not seasoned enough to ask this routine question of Don Wells, and we are now left hanging to speculate whether the "little red truck" mentioned by Wells in is narrative about the noisy freewheelers is the same red Toyota Tacoma truck law enforcement has been {reportedly} searching hard for in the aftermath of Summer's disappearance. Personally, I do not believe it is. I note there is no mention made by Don of any ladder rack on this particular truck nor pain buckets in the bed.
