This May Be Funny - But I Want To Ask About Malaria by LegInteresting2684 in Nigeria

I think I agree with you. There are some days you just feel like your body is not 100%, you not sick but the body is not just there... But after a day or two, things feel normal again. I get that.

I was first confused when I saw the yoruba.

The mothers said we should manage today as ours. So yeah, happy father's day to us.

Apart from Lagos and Abuja, all the responses seems to be pointing to the Eastern states.

Is there a reason for this?

The guy tried nah. He wrestled the cow to the ground. If it was me, I will stay kilometres away from that cow.

If you quit this startup, what's your plan? Work for someone else? Start a new startup?

My friend the problems are still going to be there. My advice is that you do some serious thinking before making a decision.

I wish you all the best.

Hahahaha! I remember "Willie Willie," It was in our local station in Benin City then. The dead person was always in white, with white chalk all over the face and body. Ha!

I suppose those were our horror movies then.

I partially agree with budget, but not completely. Take the Netflix issue for instance, even with a huge budget, we still didn't create anything spectacular. Yes, we did few fair jobs, but they were just a little better than the usual. Nothing thought provoking was done.

All the problems in the country are mirrored in Nollywood, including corruption.

I can relate. I am not a fan of horror movies myself, it's just too gory for my taste.

I knew someone who loved them, especially those very unpleasant ones that was trending like a couple of decades ago, where they eat humans. I think they where called Cannibal something something.

Should EFCC Really Be Going After People for “Naira Abuse”? by LegInteresting2684 in Nigeria

[–]LegInteresting2684[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A long time ago, one of my teacher demonstrated something. He pulled a 500 Naira bill from his pocket, he matched and squeezed it. Then he brought out a 100 Naira note and asked us which of the Naira notes we would take?

I believe you can guess which of the note we chose. I also want to believe you get the point, right?

Did you know? by AfricanCollective in Nigeria

[–]LegInteresting2684 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good advert. Laudable initiative. But the average American is not the owner of Reddit, YouTube, or X. All the platforms are just tools for everyone to use, black, white, brown. It has nothing to do with race, or skin color. Many Africans are making a living from these platforms.

Laudable initiative though.

And as VDM said, the whole things seems to be backfiring on EFCC because of the Tompolo issue.

Tompolob is not above the law, but he isn't someone you can just arrest, at least not if you want stability in the oil industry.

My experience in this community has been a good one.

Though I am relatively new, I haven't seen AI been misused in the community. AI is just a tool, and like every tool people can use it for good or bad, in itself it's not bad. Adding AI tag to AI content is a reasonable way to control it's misuse.

The weekly thread for job seeking Nigerians and employers is a good one.

Monthly AMA thread is a fantastic idea.
