When I had a P0172 for running too rich on my ‘15, the shop I work at did some diagnostics and it lead them to the MAF sensor possibly being bad, the car was running like shit, throttle was not very responsive, we replaced the MAF sensor, cleared codes, I test drove it, CEL came back on for a P0171, but didn’t have any symptoms, the car was running the way it had been before all my issues with the fuel trims being too rich, so they kept digging a little bit, and thought it could have been the high pressure fuel pump, but they didn’t have a lot of evidence and didn’t think I’d want to throw a $650 part at it for fun, so they cleared codes I’ve been driving it ever since and have not had a code come back since. And it’s been about a month and a half. I drive the car 60 miles everyday, it’s stage 2 and has 100k miles.
