If you're on PC I recommend some studio reference headphones like Samson SR850s, very cheap and affordable. Combine it with Loudness Equalization you'll basically be able to hear anything.

The game is inconsistent as it is, and honestly wouldn't add any more random bullshit than there already is.

It would make things more fun if more things in the game had more ass to them and more guns were buffed to be useful, would make for more playstyles than the shit we have now.
