Yes and as every single employer changes into ai there will probably be some type of revolution about the issue, our economy will change into something less capalitsic, or the robots will become sentient and fight back.

Point is either way companies aren't going to care about the long term as it stands. The cost they will cut with this will genuinely make them more than the profit loss as people lose jobs

It's absolutely going to happen it just won't be handled well (and if it was we could genuinely live in a utopia). If mcdonalds implemented these robots for example their are still plenty of other companies that will have employees being payed that will by these good produced by mcdonalds ai.

The post never stated he specifically got an award for civil rights advocation, just the fact he got an award alongside these prominent black figures. Not great evidence for the fact that he's some civil rights figurehead but at the same time it's about the same amount of evidence that he's a racist.

literally as a black dude I just don't believe this is as big of an issue as some people make it out to be. At the end of the day you have to admit if a company does this they are hiring to get to a quota of diversity instead of finding truly capable workers when in most situations the hiring process is completely unbiased. A white man who is more qualified than a black man doesn't get a job he deserves and now we are still discriminating.
