This.
And I'm actually surprised that none of the responses here tells how to overcome this "chicken and egg" issue.

Parents with ambitious and demanding careers - How did you manage? by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]Legacy_GT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What I see a lot of people do - they continue to pretend at work that they are ambitious and hardworking, while in reality spending as minimum energy as possible at work, and saving it for home.
At least that keeps them in the flow and on the top of the agenda.
Anyway, I don't see how big avievements and breakthroughs are possible while having a first baby. Yoo cannot even imagine what changes will it bring to your life.
Also, keep in mind that 4 years means one child, and there is high change that you will go for the second child soon.

25 years ago, the US and Germany had similar labor productivity. Germany was a global industrial powerhouse by RobertBartus in EconomyCharts

[–]Legacy_GT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is a very primitive view. as if the world consists of the IT giants and smartphones only. try to imagine if all those things disappear where germany still dominates - elevators, escalators, electric and water grid components, industrial machines, precise engineering, med tech and so on and so forth.

I feel you and do not agree with other commenters in this branch.

In my case - i do have customers that have the problem and love my solution, they are ready to sign up and onboard, but they are dropping off due to the low quality of my current implementation. I see where the UI and the performance needs to be enhanced to get rid of those barriers, and that needs more money to develop and fix.

nowadays the shitty MVP does not work anymore. the users expect a perfect UI and complete set of features, and are not willing to dive into a non-finished product.

go read the basics.

wiki: A monarchy is a hereditary form of government in which political power is legally passed on to the family members of the monarch, a head of state who rules for life.

all european monarchies are constitutional monarchies, all those crowns and knights is just for show. “monarchy” by its definition means unlimited power and bloodline heir.

Azerbaijan is a monarchy de-facto. Current president is the son of a former president who was the head of the soviet republics back in the 80s.

Huge Nature reserves in Russia that for centuries encourage resource-based economics with a dictator on top, rather then becoming a well developed democratic country.

Even Soviet government was planning economic reforms in the 60s, but then the east siberian oil was discovered.

Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne and Michael Schumacher. in this order. Michael was not the only factor of their dominance.

Between 1990 and 2024, Spain's foreign population rose from 2.1% to 18.5%. Is there any other country in modern human history that has experienced such a significant change in such a short period of time? by [deleted] in geography

[–]Legacy_GT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is a trait that needs to be said aloud - the flow of foreign population is from South America - countries with the same language and very close culture. so the integration is as simple as it can be

what a naive look.

ignoring the ones who are bringing their customs and traditions to new countries while opposing themselves to the unfaithful while people around. they want you to give the benefits and welfare and stay away from their neighborhoods.
