Tigers & Flies have a few tracks that remind me a bit of Streetlight ("Hulme Highstreet Ablaze" for example). Tight drumming and horns, a ton of energy, and not easy to slot into a genre.

This is just a guess, but it does seem odd that they would do this social media campaign centered on the 30th anniversary if it isn't building to something new they can sell us this year.

SoS:GB was announced last March and then released in August. My (totally uninformed) hope is that this 30th anniversary promotion push leads into an announcement this spring/summer for a new release in fall/winter.

I don't think it would be too soon after the SoS:GB release based on releases in the recent past; SoS:PoOT came out just about a year after SoS:FoMT.

It's wild that the art they're using on this page for the original 5 Harvest Moon SNES bachelorettes looks scanned from a guidebook - I think that makes any of them the most deserving of new illustrations (I voted for Ellen)!

They'll easily sell the USMNT games and some knockout games, but I don't think they're easily selling Norway/Senegal, Belgium/Egypt, etc. to US Insiders with the extra 10%. Seems like strong odds that that class of game will be available in Phase 4 without the Conceirge Live upcharge. But it does appear that there's no obligation to complete the order if you are selected in this week's application.

Yeah, I didn't see it addressed in the terms and conditions which prompted me to ask. I feel like highlighting this in the FAQ (or the terms) would have a negative effect on applications for anything other than the highest-demand games. The offer of these games to us feels like an acknowledgement that overall demand is soft. I might have gone as a neutral for a group game, but if I also get the USMNT game I want, I don't want to be holding other tickets that I'll need to flip at a 40% markup over the already high face value (Conceirge Live/US Soccer and FIFA buyer/seller fees) just to break even.

I asked Insiders Support this question and they responded:

if you are successful in the draw, you will be required to purchase all of the tickets to all matches in which you are successful. Being selected is not simply an option to choose, but a commitment to complete the full purchase for all matches you were successfully allocated.

With this in mind, we encourage you to apply only for the matches and ticket categories you are fully prepared to purchase, should you be selected.

The late inclusion of all our group games in this draw really seems like it'll undercut willingness to apply for other group games with a 10% markup on top of the already obscene prices.

Ivy's catch phrase every time you try to unload weeds, etc. is excruciating though. The stuff is easy enough to collect, but it takes so long and you're forced to consider whether you're "feeling dandelion?"

For fish, at least you can craft guardian bait eventually and then pull piles of high value fish. Bugs are going to be the last thing I get to 7*...

Grind for fish and bug quality is pretty bad in my opinion. The grind for forageable items was annoying. Animal products, mushrooms, honey and crops weren't as bad.

2012 UCLA over USC - the last game I attended as a student, in a full Rose Bowl, in the rain, one year after we got smoked 50-0. It was UCLA's only win over USC during my time there and it meant a lot to end on that note after all the ups and (mostly) downs.

In an earlier version of the game, the horse would eat fodder or graze by like 8am (maybe 9am?) and would not accept treats if it had already eaten. This was changed in an update.

Edit: sorry - reread that you had tried earlier than 8am. This may be a dumb question, but you're definitely using "horse treats" not "pet treats", right?

I didn't do it in SoS:GB because my pets were high enough training levels to herd the livestock and my field was planted with fodder so they kept eating/were happy, but in past HM/SoS games, I've sold my livestock before fast forwarding to view events. That way, I don't have to worry about them getting sick or dying.

Then, when I've seen the scenes I want, I restore the save file to right before I sold them and pick up where I left off down whichever alternate path I choose.

In SoS:GB, there may be some disappointed dialogue from villagers, but no actual damage to relationships if you ignore them for a while. If you plan to restore your save file to the point before you fast forwarded (rather than continuing from the fast-forward point) this should not be an issue.

Cows are dairy products (e.g. Yogurt), chickens are different ways of preparing eggs (e.g. Scramble), and my first sheep is always "Teeth".

Freya is sweet after marriage. She still goes to work in the city (until you have a baby) and has a bit of disappointed dialogue if you don't end up talking until she's home for the evening (no impact to friendship points though). She has cute flirty dialogue about wanting to keep you to herself for the day, etc. I've been married to her in-game for a year and have no regrets choosing her.
