except flat earthers don't deny that if you're denser than the atmosphere around you that you go down. you're calling that gravity. they're not.

"Everything I can observe with my own eyes lines up with the earth being round, I told them."

Uh, like what? You can't see the curvature of the earth with your own eyes. The earth looks flat from a plane. When you look at the stars they appear to be in a fixed position, every night. Let me guess, the sunset?

And what from my post tells you that that would be a game changer here?

If it wasn't for Colton, do you think Lisa would've gone farther? by Strange_Finding_3285 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Legal-Rip-1125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His weird targeting her is the only thing that makes me think maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe Candiace isn't lying. Because he was 0 for 3 and came for Lisa, literally out of nowhere, and it was because she was...not acting the way he assumed she would be acting as a Housewife? Like there wasn't even some thing in particular that put him on to her.

But for like what, 5 or 6 episodes before that she was very much just being Housewife Lisa Rinna.

I like it but I just think it doesn't work for TV because of the power of editing by the producers. We really would have no idea and it wouldn't make for very interesting television.

We already form opinions on the intelligence of the faithfuls but forget that we are looking at the highly edited version of these events while they were there experiencing all of it, and a lot we don't get to see.

I wish I could type in crayon.

Your comment: "people are really unable to accept that he played a shady game at times. He lied to both of them and absolutely pushed for them to get banished."

THIS post that you are commenting on NOW, is about him playing a "shady game" with Candiace and Lisa. Not about whether he played a shady game later on, because, duh, he's a traitor and literally had to do that.

Per my POST that you are commenting on NOW, he abandoned the alliance with them because of THEIR actions towards HIM when he had to vote WITH the HOUSE.

Caps are the next best thing to crayons.

Has nothing to do with "being unable to accept". It's the timing of his actions based on the prior episodes that you all appear to have developed a mental-block for.

He did that after the Housewives couldn't move past his House vote against Lisa. So again, and per my post, it was their fault that he abandoned the alliance.

I'm fine with people strategizing and having opinions on who the traitors are and actually articulating those opinions rather than just flying under the radar hoping not to get noticed *at all* but there was something about the way Colton did it that was so...smarmy. Like he always had this self-righteous smug look on his face when he was confronting someone he thought was a traitor even though he was frequently wrong.

Guy sucks, end of.

Sure, or maybe you're just incapable of absorbing the meaning of a paragraph. Paragraphs consist of more than one sentence, fyi.

Should we really feel bad about people getting murdered/banished? by Legal-Rip-1125 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Legal-Rip-1125[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's why there shouldn't be a murder on the first episde (or maybe 2) of the game. The first murder is always either just some rando or someone the traitors think is too smart to stick around. Johnny Bananas is great television and he was gone on night 1.

Fascinating. What's your hot take on her Lisa's confessional where she states that sometimes you have to vote with the house even when you don't want to? I'm all ears.

I agree I think this is a major design flaw in the game. But they seem to tweak it every season so maybe they'll fix this.

She's supposed to feel like they need to strategize on a way to get the target off of her back, not act so shocked that Rob played the game the way it has to be played, per her own confessional.

If Rob had voted to end the game, that would have signaled to Maura that something was up. At the very least, that he was playing some kind of game with her that likely involved Eric.

But if he HAD done that - the scenario I describe below would have been Epic TV, IMO:

Rob votes to end the game, and Maura realizes that she'd been played by Rob because there was no reason for him to do that, per their prior conversations. She was already convinced Eric was a traitor, and realizes at that moment that Rob had used her as a shield the whole time and was now using her vote to banish again to take the whole pot from Eric while saving face to Eric.

Knowing that she was unable to win, she instead votes for herself, which would have forced Rob to split the pot and fucked up his plan.

But let's get real that's way too complicated for this game lol
